HVC wants to enable each individual’s pursuit of their life changing relationship in Jesus Christ and in the local church body. One of the ways that we believe this occurs is by an understanding of one’s unique spiritual gifting that enables them to connect at a deeper level in the church body.
There is a great deal of contemporary material written on spiritual gifts and it does an adequate job in helping people to recognize, discover, and define what their spiritual gifts are. Also, many do a fine job of teaching on individual parts of the body, but never complete their teaching by assembling the body.
The problem is not that Christians do not know what their spiritual gifts are. The problem is that most Christians do not know what a spiritual gift is. They do not understand the relationships of spiritual gifts. They don’t understand how a spiritual gift relates to their lives, other peoples lives, the local church or to the body of Christ as a whole. Our goal is to bring these different elements together so that the body can function with health and intentionality.
After an individual steps into the life of HVC they will have the opportunity to meet with an equipping coach that will meet with them individually and help them to recognize, discover and define what their spiritual gifts are. We have prepared and adapted several tools to help you discover the factors that make up who you are, and in so help you find your place in the body of HVC.
